Franklin Delano Roosevelt, also known as FDR, was the 32 president. He served 4 terms total, in office. The president during the Great Depression and also WWII. He was looked up to by many different Americans. Those Americans were devastated at the sudden news of his death on April 12, 1945. Many people didn't even know that he was sick let a lone in a wheel chair. He passed while vacationing in Warm Springs, Georgia with his mistress. His death was caused by a stroke. Though he never got to see the day that Japan surrender and the allies won the war, if it wasn't for some of his risky decisions then who knows what the war would have ended like.
